Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about our peptides, our lab process, ordering, and shipping. Can't find an answer? Email us — we typically reply within one business day.

Products & Quality

What does "HPLC ≥99%" actually mean?

Every batch is tested using High-Performance Liquid Chromatography by an independent third-party lab. ≥99% means the chromatogram shows no detectable impurities above 1% of the active compound. The full chromatogram and methodology are published per-batch in our COA Library.

Where can I see the certificate of analysis for my batch?

Visit the COA Library and search by lot number (printed on the vial label). Each entry shows the chromatogram, mass-spec confirmation, water content and storage handling notes for that specific batch.

Are your peptides synthetic or recombinant?

All peptides on the catalog are synthetic — produced via solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS) and lyophilized for stability.

What is the shelf life and how should I store the vials?

Lyophilized vials are stable for 30+ days at -20 °C from the date of testing. Once reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, store between 2–8 °C and use within 30 days.

Do you offer custom synthesis or larger batch sizes?

Yes. Email cs@chembiosynth.co with your peptide of interest, scale and timeline. Minimum custom order is typically 100 mg.

Ordering & Shipping

How long does shipping take?

US orders ship within one business day and arrive in 2–3 business days via tracked express. Free shipping on orders over $200.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently ship to the US only. International expansion is on our roadmap — sign up for our research bulletin to be notified.

Is the packaging discreet?

Yes — plain padded mailer with no product branding on the outside. Inside, vials are protected with insulated liners and shock-absorbing wrap.

Can I track my order?

You’ll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order leaves our facility. You can also check status under My Account → Orders.

What payment methods do you accept?

Major credit and debit cards (Visa / Mastercard / American Express / Discover), PayPal, and PayPal Pay-in-4 for installments.

Discounts & Promotions

How do I get the welcome discount?

Subscribe to our research bulletin via the form at the bottom of any page. You’ll receive a unique 10%-off code in your inbox immediately. Single use, valid for 30 days.

Can I combine coupons?

Single-use coupons (like the welcome code) cannot be combined with other promotional codes. Site-wide promotions and free-shipping thresholds always apply automatically.

Do you offer wholesale or research-lab pricing?

Yes — for orders over $1,000 or recurring lab procurement. Email cs@chembiosynth.co with your lab affiliation and typical volume.

What if my coupon code expired?

Our welcome codes expire 30 days from issue. If yours has expired, email customer service and we’ll usually issue a fresh code as a one-time courtesy.

Research & Use

What are these peptides used for?

Our peptides are sold strictly for laboratory research — receptor-binding studies, in-vitro assays, peer-reviewed bioscience work. They are not approved by the FDA and are not intended for human or animal consumption.

Are these products GMP-grade?

Our manufacturing partners follow GMP-aligned practices but the products themselves are sold as research-grade reagents, not as pharmaceuticals or food products.

Can I publish using your peptides?

Yes. We encourage proper citation of the lot number and our COA when publishing results. Email us if you’d like the formal MSDS/methodology pack for your manuscript.

Do you have an MSDS for each product?

Yes. MSDS sheets are available on request — email cs@chembiosynth.co with the product name and lot number.

I'm new to peptide research — where do I start?

We can’t advise on specific protocols, but our Lab Process page documents how every batch is qualified before it reaches you, and our COA Library shows the kind of analytical data you’ll receive.
